
Dental Anvil

Constructed of galvanized sheet metal that is riveted together, this anvil was manufactured by the Buffalo Dental Manufacturing Company in Buffalo, NY. The top is made of heavy steel and slips into the base to make for a very sturdy anvil surface. It was meant to be semi-mobile and was filled with sand that could be removed for easier transport.

4/5: S.S. White Dental Manufacturing Co., Cycloid Dental Chair Original Upholstery. Patented December 28, 1875, the cycloid dental chair catered to the beginning dentist. The chair was lightweight and yet well balanced.
